Houston TX Hot Chicken

So I stopped by at 1 o’clock today to pick up lunch for me and my granddaughters. I ordered three orders of chicken strips. so my granddaughter was eating and she found several fries with fried on hair. I called the manager and he was gracious enough to give me a $20 credit, finding my granddaughter with her in her mouth who is going to continue eating. The order was $44 but he was being so wonderful 🤦🏻‍♀️ was really like a general manager to get in touch with me. Thank you.

Seriously amazing! I love fried chicken sandwiches and this is up there with being some of the best I’ve had. Just Incase your wondering you don’t have to get spicy chicken. They have different heat levels. If your looking for some juicy crunchy fried chicken with bold flavors I would check this place out! Will definitely be back. The staff was so friendly and excited to show us the menu and the different flavors they had. The whole experience was great.

A second location of Houston’s hot chicken 🍗 has opened its doors in North Las Vegas ( W Ann Rd. ) it is absolutely delicious 😋. We had chicken sandwich , the chicken salad , chef’s special chicken soup and FUSION FRIES. My wife loved it so much that she ate mine too, and she is not a big fan of soups. The salad is very delicious and unique, a MUST TRY. The chicken sandwiches are definitely THE BEST IN TOWN. You get to select how spicy you want the chicken, we got it mild which was perfect, not to spicy but not bland either. Their chicken is all natural and high quality food, not like the other places. You can taste the difference in quality. Perfectly seasoned chicken and so juicy and delicious 😋. The portions are very generous too. Also, you have to try their delicious MILKSHAKES , their are mouth watering delicious 😋. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. They are very fast and attentive. The restaurant manager is super nice and cool guy . The atmosphere is very vibrant and inviting. The restaurant is clean and beautifully decorated with some cool and trendy art work. Highly recommended!!! Definitely will be back!

New spot just opened up a few months ago near Ann. Been waiting for this location to open as I e seen one other but did not stop by in Summerlin. First impression was a modern look with a clean and efficient layout for a modest sitting area and drive through options. Colors match very well as you can see in the pictures and bathrooms were clean. The sitting are are equiped with booths and tables with chairs with plenty of seasoning salt and napkins because you'll need them. Windows are everywhere and the AC is running cold. I notice some spots got a little too chilly as it blows down directly on the table possibly causing food or temperature sensitive patrons. Other than that, the establishment has a constant line of cars requesting their menu items that you can witness from the sitting area. Food is delicious with all the chicken coming with a specific level of spice for you to choose from. From Chicken fingers, burgers and salads along with loaded fries with several options, it was pretty tasty. Daughter stated she felt like her chicken was full of powder but she did remember that she chose fingers without any spice and it comes with dipping sauce. Amateurs. I chose the salad with both a chicken breast flavored with sweet mustard and one with hot. Pro tip, most plates can let you choose two flavors or spice levels depending on your taste, which I found helpfully when figuring out flavors that I might like to try but not for my whole meal. Drinks are your typical fountain drinks with unlimited refills so long as you're in the store and some unique fruit flavors and ice teas. We didn't try anything else as I was out teaching my daughter to drive with her permit and opted to try them the next time we're out and hungry. Definitely want to see this place grow and open up more stores as the staff was very friendly and helpful with a genuine smile. Something that is refreshing to see especially in smaller restaurants. Try them out and see if you like it. I think it's definitely has some newer style appeal with great tasting chicken.

The only reason I am giving this location a 4 instead of a 5 is because it was freezing cold inside ! The lady at the register was in a coat and beanie and we talked later with the lady doing the drive thru and she said she had a personal heater at the window because the cold was essentially coming through the wall . We dined in because we had driven across town and didn't want to bring it home . We have been several times to the Green Valley location and I have even done a YouTube video about it . My son and daughter in law have picked up food here before and since I hadn't been to this one I said cool , I can do a review of this one . The place was clean and the decor was similar to the other location , just a few differences . I have recommended Houston's to several of my co-workers . We each got the Chicken Sandwich and One Tender Combo . I got the Frozen Lemonade and my son got the Blueberry Lavender Lemonade . My Sandwich was Mild and Tender was Medium . I usually get the Sandwich Medium and Tender Spicy , but I decided to take it down a notch this time . My son got the Sandwich with Honey Butter . The House Sauce for the Crinkle Fries are a perfect match , so good . I still haven't tried one of the Shakes , but they look great . The Strawberry and Chocolate ones look like winners . The Cole Slaw on the sandwich is made just right , crisp and flavorful . The Chicken Sandwich and Tenders are quality chicken , not cheap fast food frozen . You can definitely taste the difference . So again I would recommend Houston's to anyone , just take it home instead of eating in the dining room unless it is the summer time .

Drive greeting was quick, patient and friendly. There was not a big line. Lemonade flavor drinks were delicious. The menu varies in chicken and easy to read. Very detailed If you order waffles and chicken it’s a decent size. Waffles are really good too. The only bad thing meals are over priced. Food is good and spicy levels are NO JOKE. BECAREFULL ON THE LEVELS YOU CHOOSE Spicy levels fit everyone’s spicy levels.

My new favorite chicken spot! The spicy hot tenders had some giddy-up kick to it that was the perfect level of hot, but still keeping the flavor. The Houston sauce was a little too sweet for me, so I'll try a different sauce next time. And slaw was the only real downside, it was very dry and didn't have much flavor. Service was speedy. They give you a number and bring your order to your table. Please note, their combos do not include a drink. I highly recommend and will be back!
